This is really cute! I just wish it were in a larger size because I've never been a size small. Good luck with your auction!

thanks, i'm not normally a size small either, but maternity sizing is slightly larger, like some brands; too bad it wasn't like men's sizing, by inches number, because every label's is different, it seems.

I totally know what you mean about wishing women's clothing used inches. (In Europe they use centimeters for women's sizing.) Though I will say trying to find pants for my husband is quite difficult. You'd think 34 inches would be measured the same for all companies but its not. Old Navy had a style/cut of pants that he loves but it has since been discontinued. The only other option it seems like he has is to find a tailor that doesn't charge an arm and a leg to make something.

doesn't it seem like all the labels have their own way of sizing women's clothes? i can fit some children's, womens/ladies, petite, and juniors, but they are in different sizes. i can be a small, medium or large, depending on the type. and don't get me started on swimsuits. i'm bigger on top and smaller on the bottom, reverse triangle.

I totally hear ya. I used to like shopping but as I got older I actually kind of hate shopping now. I really haven't bought much for myself in the past 5 years (almost 6) because I've literally been pregnant and or nursing constantly. So my body size has constantly changed. Between pregnancies, when my weight was back to my normal or less, I went to try on new clothes and discovered several companies have actually changed how they cut and label their clothing. Now clothing is made for 'more robust' women. I'm thinking 'wow, just because the majority of the population is becoming 'more robust' doesn't mean everyone is.'. This trend isn't just for women's clothing either. My husband can no longer shop for shirts at Kohl's and a few other places because all of the button up shirts are now made for 'more husky' men. My husband's weight has stayed the same for the past 10 or more years and buying him clothes used to be easy but with all of these size changes, it's become almost a night mare. I can't tell you how many shirts of his that I've had to take in at the seams to make them fit for him.

i guess, maybe because the average woman's size in america is size 14? my usual problem is that the manufacturer's assume everyone is tall, so the sleeves and the hems always are too long for me. even the petite sizing is off, because the standard is 5'4" and below. maybe have your husband in "vintage fit" which is cut smaller for the men (best for slender men), typical at Old Navy; that's my husband's complaint, because he is muscular, but he was heavy before, so this vintage fit doesn't work for him.
