The listing, AT&T 2wire modem with built in wireless router has ended.

I have upgraded my interenet service and was told by an ATT rep that I could auction this off. It is in great condition. Had it for 6 months and still looks brand new. Works great and comes with the wires

Yes you can go wireless. I could go a good distance from it with my laptop. :)

i have two of the two wires and the only way any someone can use it is. If it is In there name i know this is to be true.

Thanks for your comment. I have talked with ATT about this already and they have told me that anyone can use it. It is a moden like any other. They can also use this modem with any internet service provider also. For ex: if you have a local internet service provider you plug the modem in and when you go wireless you wont see 2wire under it. It will say other. You click other and put in the the numbers on the side of the moden and your set to go. I have asked because I was going to give this to my mother in law so they could get internet hooked by up after they moved. She already has one and has done the same thing.
