The weeping willow is a medium to large-sized deciduous tree, growing up to 60 feet tall. It grows rapidly. The shoots are a yellowish-brown, with small buds. The leaves are alternate and spirally arranged, narrow, light green, with finely serrate margins and long tips; they turn a gold-yellow in autumn. The flowers are produced early in the spring.

Seasonal information: develops quickly with growth throughout the year, but encouraged in summer by warm climates. They grow well in most climates.

Location: You should plant your weeping willow in full sun or partial shade at least 35 feet from your septic system or leach field. Weeping willows develop an aggressive root system that gravitates to water. Tiny roots will infiltrate the smallest crack and quickly fill your septic system, clogging or splitting pipes.

This seedling is between 6-24 inches tall. This seedling is an off shoot of our 25 year old parent tree. It was rooted in my home with tender loving care.

Seedling will be sent bare root, wrapped in a moist towel, then placed in a plastic bag to keep it moist and safe.
