ecw321, sorry but this is a Verizon CDMA phone. It won't take a SIM. It shows on the box that it's a VZW handset.

This phone does take a SIM card, it is unlocked for all GSM carriers...TMobile/At&T/etc and Verizon CDMA carrier. It is a world phone.
