@howdoidothis01 ..... pc builder here ....... PCIe is short for pci express it is a replacemen for the older pci and agp standards for addon cards. not all pci expreess cards are half hight or low profile ..... this one in this auction is standard hight can tell by clicking view larger on second picture. check out the pci express wikipedia page for more info

well as I understand PCI e means it is a short version of an expansion/video card that will only fit in slimline/short cases.

The other is Hynix 512 mb ddr 400 Hz

I can clarify the issues on this card.

This card has 256MB of GDDR3 on board with a core clock speed of 540MHz and a memory clock speed of 700MHz.

The shader clock speed is 1.18GHz. It's PCI-e which if you've bought a computer in the last 4-5 years, PCI-e is what it will use. The old standard was AGP.
