The listing, Donkey's Tail Succulent - Tiered auction has ended.
The auction starts with 10 leaves similar to picture 3.
The leaves act like seeds for this plant, they will start rooting and develop new tiny plants like the one in picture 4. It takes time and patience to get them to mature size... And you have it, you are the gardener:)
When biddings go over 10K, I will add 10 more leaves. For bids over 20K, I will substitute 10 additional leaves with lapprox. 2" mid stem cutting and bids over 30K will get 2 mid stem cuttings.
By mid stem cutting I mean a live plant cutting without the top part, like the ones in picture 5. They are not ready for arrangements, but they are better for propagation because they will produce 'bushier' plants. You can cut them in half and/or use bottom leaves as seeds.
Botanical Name: Sedum morganianum
Donkey's Tail -- sometimes called Burro's Tail -- is a succulent with stems thickly covered with overlapping, plump, blue-green leaves that trail down the side of its container.
