Vintage Red Peignoir (Robe) & Nightie Set size Medium

I bought this vintage red peignoir (robe) & nightie set on here, but it doesn’t fit me.

The robe has a tag inside, listing this as a small, but I think it’s a very generous small and would be best suited to a medium (I’m a small & I found this to be too big on me).

Tag reads: Munsingwear, size S, Made in U.S.A.

Fabric: listed as 100% nylon tricot exclusive of ornamentation

The set is pretty long. It comes past my knees & I’m tall.

Nice vintage condition with flaws from wash & wear. Both pieces have a lot of “picks” in the fabric. I didn’t see any stains on either piece.

The robe has a tiny hole on one sleeve.

The nightgown is lined. It is missing it’s belt (it didn’t have one when I bought it). There is a noticeable tear in the lace on the lower hem of the nightgown. However it would be a fairly easy fix. I didn’t bother to sew it since it doesn’t fit me.

Lots of possibilities for this neat set! Useable as is or could be fixed for a costume, nightwear, etc.
