What a beautiful piece of Japanese porcelain for your home decor.. Shallow bowl. Made from 1959 to 1983 afterwich was discontinued bearing the logo "GOLD IMARI" in this size and with this much gold.
7 and 5/8 across the top and it is decorated with lovely Iris flowers and shining heavy gold. VERY ELEGANT and in good taste for any display setting.

There is one craze mark on the bottom--not viewed.

I have seen a few of this similar pattern--be aware this is larger by about 2 inches in the diameter and has a decorated rim in cobalt and gold pattern and importantly HAS MORE GOLD in the design. So if shopping be sure you are buying the best example!! This is probably one of the oldest of this pattern.
