These grow very fast!! They bloom and drop seeds. and those come up and bloom!! They are mixed colors... If planted in good soil they can get up to 2 ft tall... Their seed pods turn yellow and pop open... This is where their name comes from...they like full sun... And not wet , but not dust dry either... I love my plants and I know how to take care of them , but I'm nothing but a flower lover.. So don't ask me scientific questions and just understand this is my way... These multiply heavily !!!!!! Good luck!!

Will they be ok in zone 5 We get heavy snow and cold in the winter up here in MA.

They come up from seed and bloom all summer.... And then drop their seed and cajillions of them come up next year... These are old timey flowers.... They are mixed colors....thank you for looking at them.. These are home grown and my seeds... I have them every year... I got them from an elderly lady in Clarksdale, Mississippi years ago...

Yes they are.... You can transplant.... Or use seeds... I love mine.....

Yes if you have 3 good months of sun they will make it... Because you plant the seeds..

I didn't know that!! And I dodge it like its a snake! Rub the leaves and stems where it touched you? I have so many coming up around one area... I think I will put more in pots!! Thank you!!!
