Description

The listing, Heirloom Hartmans Giant Amaranth Seeds 500+ has ended.

This Auction is for 500 plus Hartmans Giant Amaranth Seeds....Original Seeds I purchased from an Organic Supplier. These seeds I harvested myself. I do not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides on my garden or yard. Amaranth seeds are very nutritious can be added to breads, cereals....they also can be popped! They are now being considered as a superfood.
These plants grow up to 10ft tall, simple to grow, need little water and thrive in poor soil conditions. Each plant produces a large beautiful seed head....with thousands of seeds. I am going to be adding more heirloom seed auctions...I have lots to give! Have a great day!!! LOL the second picture is one of my cucumbers that I dressed up!!!!

I have grown this plant in PA as well NC...where I live now...the plants are so hardy..and reseed themselves when left alone...very tiny when they germinate..but tough...will look up the zones for you...but I believe they would be great in Iowa
