The listing, Republic of Texas Two Dollar Bills has ended.

These are not real bills and are not legal tender. These were given to participants of the White Rock Marathon as tokens in the goody bag just for fun! The auction is for a set of two novelty bills. I have shown front and back of both bills. It says "The Treasurer of the Republic of Texas Will pay Two Dollars in Promissory Notes of the Government when presented at the Treasurers Office in accordance with an act of Congress Austin March 1st 1841"
