I'm sorry but no. This is a brand new code, hasn't been used. So the only way it wouldn't work is for 2 reasons.
1) the winner decided to wait to use it after July 30.
2) the winner is lying and just wanted to regain the credits they spent so that they could obtain this for free.

Someone's done this to a friend of mine before, and they lost all the credits they received from that auction.

So I will not be giving refunds for any codes I put here.
I apologize if this isn't the answer you weren't expecting.
