mEET turtle and his young son,both members of the blackfeet tribe.The lithograph is taken directly from the master by WINOLD REISS,Mr.Reiss began his portrait work of the blackfeet in 1919 and was held in such high esteem by them that he was inducted into the tribe and given the name BEAVER CHILD.Great Northern Railway began using Mr.reiss' work for their calendars in 1928.This lithograph is from a portfolio offered by GLACIER NATIONAL PARK because the tribal land abutted theirs.The Reiss Blackfeet portraits have become universally known and acclaimed.This one is again a rariety because the child is included in the portrait.This is one you won't want to miss.All listia rules apply
