yes mam it sure does i have checked it with a battery for a 24 hr period and it works perfect i just cant afford to put batterys in all the watches i have so i just do a test for that 24 hr then i check the next one i have orderd 30 batterys if they come in befor this is done it will come with a working battery,,,thanks for asking
