My best friend is in Haiti right now filming a documentary, he gave me his old iPhone 4s since my current phone is on the fritz but...He never disabled his Apple ID and I have no idea how to get around this!

I'll just have to wait until my upgrade >sigh<

Go to attend and see how much it would be if you did the "next up" upgrade. That's what we had to do on our plan and I got a brand new lg g3 vigor for $45

If its icloud locked u can't use it at all until u get the person who owns it to put in there email and password u can call apple tech support and they will tell u the same thing so pretty much its useless unless u can get the owner to unlock it

The only reason it has no GIN is because there have been bogus accounts made on listia where someone swoops in on high bidding items and clicks GIN...but then never pays, or responds and overall ruins it for everybody. The user name that has already done this to me was "ThisGuyHere0714" ... he was removed and now i'm terrified it will happen again. lolit was up to 220,000... ya

Since it's on your friends icloud account. This phone will not work even if it's not blacklisted. Icloud does not let anyone sign in to the phone without first being signed out from previous icloud account. Can you contact your friend to get his account information?

I'm unsure. It's on Listia hoping to find a tech savvy owner that can either unlock and use it as a phone, or if not... it turns into and ipod touch lol no calls, but can access wifi, internet, apps, you get the idea...
