hi! thank you, that's nice to hear. the answer to your question is yes & no. i do smoke but ONLY outside. these boards have been boxed & inside my house & my shed, so they've never been close to smoke. but then i know how the smoky smell kinda stays on your fingers when you smoke & i don't know if any of that smell would be transferred. the open one, like i said was only opened to take the pic & of course i didn't rub my fingers all over it or hold it for a long time. i just want to be completely honest because i care about making the buyers happy with their "purchase". so, i hope that helps but if you have any other comments or questions, please say/ask them.
