they require a potting mix with excellent drainage. A succulent plant mix of 50 percent pumice or perlite to 50 cactus soil I don't really water mine much in winter I leave soil dry out pretty good before watering. You can top dress the pot with pea gravelor pumice they are prone to rot you can also use clay pots if you are prone to overwater They can take some sun or bright light, but look for a place that is dappled shade or what they call bright light,you may wanna research them abit
I also use ammonium sulfate 21-0-0 with every water I/2 t and 1/2 vinegar to gallon water, vinegar acidifies the water to allow better nutrient uptake they seem to being doing much better just watch for shriveling than you know to water but good luck with the auction
