Just went to website and this item is to use with items like printers, PDA's and cell phones..Software can be downloaded from a couple different sites.. Why are you saying AS-IS if it is brand new?

Thanks for sharing! I bought this for the printer but never used it. I say AS-IS since this item does not have a current warranty on it and I do not have the receipt so there is no way to return it or refund it. Thanks for asking, I hope I answered your question.
