The listing, VINTAGE (1978)BUCK KNIFE W/Shealth has ended.

Vintage 110/\ Buck knife,Single Blade (Locking) Folding Knife, With Original Leather Sheath
Tang stamped BUCK 110/\ U.S.A.-the 110/\ is the mark for the year made,Also has CAT etched on Blade,I do not believe this knife has ever been used,it is in like new condition.No marks or scratches to speak of,YOU decide & LOOK at all picture's.Buck is a well made Knife,made in the USA,It has Brass End's and Insert's,Still factory sharp.

Size-Closed 5 inches-Opened-8 3/4 inches....Blade 3 3/4

This has the Original Genuine Black Leather Sheath it came with,it is also in Like new Condition.Has Buck and 110 on it,with snap closer,Slip on Belt Hanger,very sturdy.

I'm just guessing here, but the font used for the CAT lettering looks like what caterpillar tractor uses. Might be a commemorative edition or a retirement gift. A knowledgeable collector might know

You would probably be correct,i got this from a man many years ago who used to work at one of there factories,but honestly can't remember if he drove one or worked for them,but it would be a collector item for sure,Thank's for the information,I would say it is a commemorative knife,even might have given as a retirement,or years of service issue.
