It's a very nice ring...It's probley from the 1950's or 60's...could be older...I'm

My guess is about a 8 mens....I don't know womans sizes
so...it fits my small finger... so that's what I'm using as a gauge..if it's
to big...you could get it sized...it is a very nice ring I bought in Afghanistan
for my wife..and this one was a little big....and she has so many others....

since you seem to have collected a bit of silver from the region... do you know about what purity most Afghan silver jewelry is? for example did they get most of their crafting materials from melting down coins so it would be like anywhere from .720-.925 or? ... just any information you have about this would be greatly appreciated... not that I would melt such beautiful jewelry but it is just always good to actually know what you are getting, in my opinion... and do you know what the stone is also? thanks and good luck to you =)
