It was given to me, so I believe that all that is wrong with it is that it does not have a battery that works..... is battery operated, not wind-up. Generally folks hide away watches when the battery runs out or they are wound too tight. I am not adept at closing the back once one is opened and it is cost-prohibative for me to pay someone to do it for me. I think it is eight bucks a piece at Batteries Plus. I have about six or more watches up this month. That is a huge amount of money for someone on a limited disability stipend.... plus they are all Free Shipping. I'm sorry. That's probably not what you wanted to hear, but thank you for asking.

I don.'t blame you for not putting in a battery when you're doing free shipping! Seiko is a great watchmaker and you are an honest person...I won one of your auctions in the past :)
