The listing, Poppy seed, Opium poppies, mixed colors has ended.
Poppy seed from 50 to 100 seeds. Colors include Laurens grape, Hungarian breadseed (lavender with pink tinted centers), Fringed deep purple with deep purple centers, red with purple/black centers and hot pink petals with purple center sploches.
Growing guidelines for poppys: DO NOT plant these now, keep the seeds cool until it gets cool outside. plant seeds by just pressing into the soil do not cover with soil, as they need sunlight to germinate. Make sure you do your best to set seed as far apart from each other so they can grow large. Make sure they are set into a spot that gets lots of sun. If you give the seeds space these can grow up to 4 feet tall. Its best to plant the seed where you want the plants. Poppies do not usually survive being moved and having thier roots disturbed. I plant every week or 2 for long blooming period. I begin setting seed out around October and continue until end of December. If they grow for me living in the desert, just about anyone can grow poppies and be successful. Good luck and enjoy your garden!
