The listing, Latest Version of a U.S. $1 Coin has ended.

I guess I must have been living in a cave the past 4 years, because I didn't know they were making new $1 coins. This one is marked 2007-P. Thomas Jefferson on one side, and the Statue of Liberty on the other side. The phrases "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "In God We Trust" are stamped on the rim of the coin.

Gold tone in color. This coin has been circulated some, but not very much at all. It's a little tarnished. It's just a bit bigger than a quarter. Who knows if the public will finally accept a $1 coin. I seriously doubt it! They've tried it 4-5 times and failed every time.

It is part of the president series.They started with GW and do 4 different a year. They r in circulation but everyone hoards em....
