When I was 16 the only band I listened to for two years was Led Zeppelin. Still have every album, even have the only 45 they made! Your never to old to get the lead out. Rock on my friend! Can't believe your letting this go! Hoping it comes my way, Best of Luck, Christine :)
I've been listening to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Rush, Jethro Tull and so many others since I was about 14 - luckily, my older sister had already brought albums home with Janis Joplin, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Beatles, etc. - except for Janis, The Beatles and Pink Floyd, I've seen them all in concert and a bunch of others, too. I didn't get to see Rush until April 2008 and as hard as it is to say it, except for Led Zeppelin, it's THE best concert I've ever been to, for the "Snakes and Arrows" tour. In case you didn't get to see the Kennedy Center Honors program, here's some links. That night, it was for a ballerina I don't recall, Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, but they saved Led Zeppelin for last ... and Jason Bonham, John's son, came out with Ann & Nancy Wilson (from Heart) to play drums on "Stairway to Heaven". It was great to see the guys and watch their reactions ... and, of course, they had Jack Black introduce the segment (remember the movie "School of Rock"? lol) Here ya go:
