Here today, we have another RARE and UNUSUAL plant. Anyone who knows me, knows I love plants that are DIFFERENT!! Something you can not walk into the nearest BOX STORE and find!! THIS ONE definitely fits the bill!!
This is a succulent, which means it requires little watering. As you can SEE---the name "MEDUSA" fits this plant perfectly!! Branches grow "wild looking" and go in every direction---just like the character of MEDUSA!!
You will receive 3 (THREE) 6-8" STARTS from this mother plant (mother plant N*O*T included). Roots grow at the middle or end of branches See Photo #4). Each start can be CUT into pieces and planted individually, OR, you can plant the end with the roots. Water lightly and give bright light, until well established.

This looks similar to the translucent triangular dogtail cactus being offered at Lowes, and, Home Depot. Is it related?

To be honest---I have not researched it out that far to even know. I got it at an independent nursery---and have never seen this one at Lowe's or Home Depot. This place has a ton of cool-unusual and different plants that I always find here. I know it grows roots out of the end of the stems, or stalks, or whatever you want to call them!!
