Welcome! Thank you for your interest in this floral, ginger jar in excellent condition. It could be used as a vase. It will arrive with the wooden Asian style base. The base does have a small piece missing. The vase stands approx 5 inches tall without the base, and has a diameter of approx 4 1/4" at its widest. It is marked "8730" on the bottom.
