I bought this to see if my cousin could network off me nextdoor but the range is not quite long enough. He lives close to 450 feet away so he had to have one with an intenna. Used for maybe 5 minutes total. Will need to download driver online unless I can find out where I put the cd and I will included it

boatrizzle not too say you don't know what you're saying, but I believe the only thing that works with the Xbox 360 is the Microsoft official adapter. I could be wrong but I thought that was the only way you can get wireless with the older 360's.

I apologize in a way you are right, But in the same sense yes this adapter can be used to connect to a wireless router WITH a little technical skills/knowledge. Your router will have to have DD-WRT firmware installed. Some routers come from the store with it installed but some cases you would have to actually install it yourself. Are they'er 1 or 2 receivers? The box shows 2, a 150mbs, and a 300mbs, but next pic show's only 300mps? and description say's 1 receiver? Please explain. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry for the confusion Mike. There is only one receiver. It is the 300 mbps. I'm assuming the box is just advertising that they carry both the 150 and the 300 mbps Aadapters but again this is only the 300 mbps adapter. Thanks for clearing that up

So Mike i tried to post that reply from my phone. Anyway my cousin couldnt use this adapter because he was out of range so we got him one with a 1000M range and instead of sending this one back for a refund I thought Id just list it on Listia. Like i mentioned it is brand new just not what he needed
