Description

The listing, Large Beautiful Marigolds...75+ Seeds has ended.

These wonderful seeds will give your home incredible, constant blooming attractive Marigolds for years & years. My wife can't plant anything, but she grew these!!! lol She planted them early summer right into the ground & actually kept them watered...that helps!

Now you can have some for yourself!!!

So easy to start! Here are some instructions from a website:

Marigolds are grown from seeds. They like full to partial sun. Marigold seeds can be directly sowed into your flower garden, or seeded indoors for transplanting later. We recommend planting Marigolds in pots and containers indoors, then transplanting them outdoors. This allows you to make the proper spacing without the need for thinning seedlings.

Sow Marigold seeds early in the season and cover lightly with soil. Water thoroughly once. They germinate easily and will grow quickly, producing their first of a continual display of blooms by mid-summer.

How to Grow Marigold Flowers:

Marigold plants like rich, well drained soil, but are very tolerant of average to slightly poor soils. Improving your soil quality will produce much healthier plants and flowers, so add plenty of compost. Add a general purpose fertilizer once a month.

Once your Marigolds are established, they should grow well, even if left unattended. Soil should be moist, but not wet. Water them during dry periods, once or twice per week.

does local pick up mean that we have to pick it up our selves from a certain area or does it mean its going to be shipped to our house?

Local pick-up mean if you and the seller live in the same area the two can meet to receive the auction item instead of the item having to be mailed. Because of gas prices, that may not be the most cost effect method for the seller!!!

OK these really look great in front of our home..next year we'll be planting more. They are so attractive and the blooms are around 1 1/2" across. These are full-proof for planting. Great for the kids to plant right in the ground.

Once you get these started, wait for the flower to dry up, then grab & pull...you'll get around 25+ seeds for the next year.

once any flower has dried completely...you have seeds. just pluck the dried flower off & save them. it's best to store them in a small paper bag so they don't mold just incase they still hold a bit of moisture. nature-awesome! & you are welcome!
