Missouri Sales Tax Tokens 1930's

During the 1930’s twelve states issued these sales tax tokens. They were Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, and Washington.
By the end of the 1930s token use was eliminated in most of the issuing states, with sales tax tokens lingering in Missouri until late in the 1940s. One is metal while the other seems to be plastic (which was relatively new in the 1930’s). If you collect tokens you probably have some of these. If you do not have any here are a few that might interest you.
