the name of these shoes is "Ryka nubuck leather & mesh, double gore mary janes". Ryka focus on the q-angel(quadricep angel), which measures the relationship between the pelvis, legs, & feet. the wider the angle the more stress & more chance of injury. women have a 5-7 degree greater angle than men. Ryka is a womens shoe that adresses this problem, with narrower heel, rommier forefoot, increased instep volume & more secure & stable footbed for greater overall performance, fit & comfort. I guess u could use these for walking, running, jogging, or just everday comfort!:)
