The listing, Seagate 40Gb Hard Drive has ended.
My last auction went so well that I'm trying it again. This is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 40Gbyte Hard drive. It is used but in great condition. This is a hard drive for a desk top, not a laptop computer.
I do have more hard drives but they aren't ready to bite the dust and be used for scrap yet! I personally test each and every one to make sure it is in good working order, of course if it's up to the high bidder what he or she wants to do with it once they win the auction. I am sure I will have more similar auctions soon so just keep watching.
is the only drive you have or will you have other drives listed in the future? I'm a scrapper by trade and go after used drives like these for their pins and their platters.
SATA and IDE are 2 different types of HDD's. Ultra ATA doesn't tell me whether it's SATA or IDE. SATA is the Little Cords Red/Blue for Power and the thin cable and IDE is the Grey looking Long Cable. Which one does it use? I am guess IDE.
This hard drive should fit in your dell with no problem what so ever as long as you are talking about a desk top model. This is not a hard drive for a laptop. This is a common hard drive that is found in dells, compaqs, gateways, etc
This is an Ultra ATA. Now as for the 'Out of Warranty Contract Repair Only', you do realize that as I indicated earlier, the hard drive is used. The pic I used may or may not be the exact hard drive you get. It will be the same identical kind but I did not take pics of every individual hard drive I have and match them up by serial numbers because as I said, they are all the same kind. That being said, be assured that I test every computer component I get to make sure it is in perfect working order. If you have any more questions I will be more than happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
is the SATA or IDE HDD? Oh on a note about the warranty: Serial Number Seagate PN Warranty Status Options 3JX1LG68 9W2005-301 Out of Warranty Contract Repair Only
I honestly understand but that is why I am hoping I will get some bids on this because I am just about out of credits. I bid on way too many auctions at one time! lol
