Are you sure this fits the 2,3,4 generation, or more specifically, does the box state as much.

I have tried it on ipad 1 and 2. Since ipads 1 through 4 are all similar in size then I say yes definately! This case was mad for the ipad 1. This is what I have but it was like murder trying to get it on. My boyfriend has an ipad 2 and he has the same case, It was a little easier but still tough. The difference in size between the ipad 1 vs the ipad 4 are merely just a few milimeters which technically just makes it easier to put the case on a 4 or a 3 rather then a 1 or a 2 even thought the box states ipad 1. These cases wer made prior to ipad 2, 3, and 4 coming out. For more reference please visit this page.
