I apologize. Should have asked more clearly: I mean "fresh" as in from your own plants? Or, if packaged, they expire before December? I live in Arizona and won't be able to plant until it cools down in October-thanks & fanned :)

These seeds are from my plants, but if you don't store your seeds in a cool, dark, and sealed, environment you risk a lost in the seeds.

yes, I looked it up and you're correct about storage being key. I'm keeping them in sealed envelopes inside a glass jar in a cabinet. My house stays cool so I think they will be great. Thanks for the tip :)

Sometimes when I find a tomato or cucumber that I like I will smash it, get the seeds out and freeze them.lol

That's so neat. I would start doing that but here in Arizona I can only plant veggies in early Spring so I'll keep my eyes open for good looking produce in October lol
