This book is titled Christmas Portraits and is a hardcover book with very large descriptive pictures and the entire book is for cross stitching. The beginning pages of the book show what the completed works will look like. And the final pages of the book are the Crosstitch patterns that you would use to do the designs pictures in the front. There are some beautiful and amazing Crosstitch patterns available in this book of new and old Christmas portraits. A lot of them are shown on the front and back cover of the book if you zoom into the picture. This is quite a large book even know it doesn't have a lot of pages 95 to be exact, they are very large detailed pages so that it is easier to read and follow the patterns. This book measures 9" wide x 11" tall. And most of the Crosstitch patterns take up a double page which would make the pattern 18" wide. This one being the perfect book for anyone who loves cross stitching and making Christmas ornaments or gifts.
