The listing, Ladies Cute Dainty Sterling Silver Ring Sz 7 has ended.

This auction is for a cute dainty sterling silver ring, size 7. I found this ring in my rent house, therefore, I do not know the history of the ring, it's worth, or where it was purchased from.

The silver needs cleaning as it is showing signs of tarnish.

Ring features a center stone (probably cubic zirconia) and small marcasite stones on each side. One marcasite stone is missing.

Ring can be worn as is if you don't mind the missing stone.

Please note the bottom of the band is also slightly bent out of shape.

The ring markings say "NF 925" which is a stamp indicating sterling silver. The NF I had to look up myself. Every link I have researched indicates it is a hallmark of the silversmith.

I also found a jewelry seller on Ebay that indicates in listings that it could be a vintage hallmark.

I am not passing the ring off as vintage or even valuable because like I said in the listing, I simply found this in my rent house. It is in dire need of a cleaning and a little reshaping around the base of the band. And, also as stated in the auction, a stone is missing. This ring could be worn, but could also be used toward scrap metal.

Thanks so much! It does need a good cleaning with a silver cleaner because it is starting to tarnish. Also, the bottom of the ring is slightly out of shape. Just wanted to remind everyone of it's condition. :o)

Thank you, angel32362, but my research shows NF is a hallmark indicative of "No fillers" meaning it is sterling silver. Furthermore, I NEVER indicated this ring is antique. I made it clear that I know nothing of it's history. I even stated such in the listing.

And, as far as telling ppl that "there should be no more questions".....that's not your place. This is not your auction. They can ask as many questions as they like. I PREFER they ask questions. I will answer what I can all day long if there is interest in this auction.

I would like to clarify since this listing has stirred some controversary: It appears some Listians do NOT read descriptions well and raise controversary on listings. A Listian commented on this auction that NF means it is plated. ALL of my research indicates NF means "no fillers" meaning the ring is made of sterling silver. I invite you to do research, as well, if you are interested in the ring. If you find something different, please let me know.

Like I said, I am not trying to pass this ring off as an expensive ring, nor did I ever say it was antique as the former mentioned Listian indicated.

I found it in my rent house. I recognize the marcasite stones, but can not identify the center stone. It is either CZ, topaz, quartz, or some other similar man made stone/gem. I am certain the stone is not a diamond.

As I also stated in the auction, this ring could be used as scrap metal if the winner chose not to wear as is.

I know a marcasite stone when I see it. Because I know nothing of this ring's history, I can not nor would I even attempt to pass it off as something it MAY not be.

I'm certain it's not a real diamond, however, I'm pretty sure it's either topaz, cubic zirconia, quartz, or a similar manmade stone/gem. You may have checked this first, but I am not. I do not have the time nor energy to drive 1 hour one way just to find a jeweler who MAY give me free advice on what this ring is made of.

If it's the real deal, then the winner gets one hell of a piece of jewelry. If it's not, then they got what I described in this auction.

Thailand "925" means it is sterling silver or a 92.5% purity of silver. NF is a hallmark of the silversmith. I believe in asking questions to try and validate ones claim, but for others to keep on nagging is redundant. This is a very nice ring N I am watching. TY for listing this item!
