I'm back... On to your question...
I have to be honest & answer: I'm not sure...
I'll tell ya why...
The cost of this Eternity Band was under $100...
So I DON'T believe it's Solid Gold18K(as marked)...
I Know its not Just Gold Plating either...
I received mine as a gift from my husband, over 2 years ago...
I put it on that day and have NEVER taken it off. Not even once.
I do the dishes wearing it, shower, clean the house, using chemicals, cook, work - EVERYTHING !!!!
The Gold Plate would have been worn off by now, dissolved,
Non -Existent !!
My ring hasn't tarnished OR lost any of its sparkle or shine.
It doesn't irritate my skin or turn my finger green !!!!
It looks as new today, as the first day I got it...
I don't believe Gold Plate to hold up to that high level of stress...
Gold filled - Maybe = Maybe Not...
I haven't owned many filled pieces, so I'm not very familiar with the gold on that level...
I know that's not much to go on but I hope it helped a little...
