MrsWidlak,I have seen the other one too. Yes they are identical, but not the same and neither is a replica. I say this having owned one of these myself. They are actually quite heavy and I believe contain a fair amount of lead in the base model which made them desirable as "table" lighters.
thank you it is a very nice piece and i no it is very collectible, and they should have it appraised, my grandfather gave it to me it been in the family around 70 tears that i no of, i just thought i would put something on very nice, who ever wins it wil be very happy fanned you.
Thats So kind of you to say "gatorboggs"! ......Thanks for the info as well........ No need to apologize to Anyone my dear, You're doing just Fine <3 this lighter is truly a Very Sweet Little "conversation piece". I'm amazed that it works......... I use to have one a while back Very similar - not identical. And Yes I am on FB. Have a great night my friend!
I've had several similar, believe it's silverplate Ronson model, base metal is usually brass, not lead. But this is not assembled right the activating lever shouldn't be sticking in air like that.
Absolutely amazing OR coincidental?, This Very same identical item appears for auction with two different members at the exact same time?, Is this item possibly a Replica?, Thank You
thank you for replying to my comment and yes it is a beautiful piece I would love to have it myself. This away I'd have something nice for my daughters when they get older. However there's more people out there that will have more of a use than me.
This is one of the coolest little lighters that I've ever seen! Very nice item. How big is it?, sorry cant really tell from the picture. Also, Curious to know if I would need to put flints in it as well? Thank You Much, Mrs Widlak
