These are a very pretty climbing vine which bloom small purple flowers and then develop pods on them like bean pods in which the seed is inside of when they get mature u pick the pod and dry the bean to plant next spring.

I grow this, it's also called purple hyacinth (lablab purpureus). It is a pretty vine, grows practically anywhere!

very pretty on fences, trellises, i put it in and empty log that had one side of the wood going up about 3 ft. climbed right up it and spreaded out very pretty when in bloom**
