It doesn't say on the packaging, but it looks to be made out of the same material that light windbreakers are made out of. So its lightweight and apparently stain-resistant. Hope this helps.

hi, thanks for your reply, just making sure it isn't made out of plastic, like those cheap bed covers are made out of, since they break very easily and i usually stuff my landry bags. :) anyway of opening up just one of the staples to slide a couple of fingers in to feel it for me? :)
