Alvin Ralph "Al" Dark (1/7/22 – 11/13/14), nicknamed "Blackie" and "The Swamp Fox", was an MLB shortstop and manager. He played 14yrs from 1946 through 1960. Dark was named the major leagues' 1948 Rookie of the Year! Was 3rd manager to win pennant championships managing both NL & AL teams.
