police chief cash grier thinks tippy oore is a promiscuous snob. nothing could be further from the truth but she can't share her past with him, even if she is totally smitten. she has a young brother to raise and figured cash would never really love her. things get really complicated when cash rescues her from an abusive kidnapper and he takes her home with him so she can recover. really love this book. but I have like 3 copies.
