@Mitchell116: The bids only go up incrementally; that way the highest bidder gets some credits back if no one else bids as high as they do. Someone bids the highest bid they are willing to go and if you make a bid that is LESS than their highest bid, it will still say they are the highest bidder. I know some people think that it's a computer bidding, well technically it is the computer keeping track. But ALL auction sites work the same way. Someone is the highest bidder until someone bids ABOVE the original highest bid. The only auctions that don't work like this is where you go to an auction where people raise there hand, until no one bids any higher.
