Please read everything!!!!

This, folks, is an auction NO ONE will want to miss out on. I made it Premium for a reason! Yet one more special treat for Listians :)

This is a 100% original, Solid silver and Hallmarked Robert Pringle and Sons flower vase from around the turn of the century to the 20's.

Robert Pringle & Sons
The business was established in 1835 by Robert Pringle (I) who had moved to London from Perth in 1820 and passed to his son Robert Pringle (II). The firm was re-styled as Robert Pringle & Son in 1882 and in 1899 as Robert Pringle & Sons. The firm was converted into a limited liability company in 1931 under the style Robert Pringle & Sons (London) Ltd and later in Robert Pringle (Engineers) Ltd (c. 1965)

Robert Pringle and sons made silver of only the finest quality, and their original silverware has sold in auctions for over $1000 before.

In reference to the pictures, the vase is not water tight as it is buckled at the bottom, which I have provided a picture of. However, this can be fixed. It is still an amazing piece for display.

The pictures of this vase are of the exact item you will recieve. Look at my other auctions as well! I have many, many more coins and early U.S stamps as well as antiques and collectibles that i will be listing in the future, so fan me and I fan back! I'm ALWAYS interested in trades for GOLD, ELECTRONICS, and especially OLD MILITARY ITEMS. If you have anything like this, give me a shout and I will tell you what I have to trade!

How many grams does it weigh?
+1
Sep 19th, 2011 at 6:11:51 PM PDT by
Original
weighs a little over 100 grams on my scale, and with the chalkware base not being silver, my guess is that it has a silver melt value alone of about $75-$80 :) With it's historical significance, it must be over $100 in value..

This is an amazing piece! I hope i will have the credits to get it! I don't think it is fair for people to ask to lower the days. It cheats you and others that need to build their credits up to bid. Thank you for not doing that! I love it. FANNED AND WATCHING!

Fanned and watching! So are you saying that the entire round base is chalkware up to the ring looking part?
Sep 27th, 2011 at 2:30:46 PM PDT by
Original
The pictures do not show it, but the underneath of the vase, the part which it stands on, is a small amount of chalkware. This is just o weigh it down and to prevent it from being top heavy. This part is coated in silver.
