thanks, i tried to get a good pic of these, i took several but was never that satisfied with the pics. the orange crystals are more transluscent and on the other ones you can see the different shapes inside the stones and i just wasn't able to capture that, but....

as far as i know they are new, but the chains are just standard chains, nothing fancy. the stones are old in and of themselves but they haven't been worn. it's hard for me to say that these are NEW because they are quartz crystals, if that makes any sense!

yes, crystals are minerals, i have no idea why they come in such different colors, i've done some reading on them and there are so many different varieties and names that it's mind boggling for me. these have been cut and rolled. the mineral i work with the most is turquoise
