The listing, Fenton Satin Custard Glass Candy w lid- Signed 2x has ended.
So truly Beautiful this lovely Water Lily Compote or Candy dish is in wonderful Condition with No chips or Nicks just a few fine scratches, 2 on the base area and the rest inside the bowl. No other issues that I can see anywhere else.
Very heavy at 3 LBS so I need to ask quite a bit in points to give free shipping as it will be priority shipping and with loads of careful packing much heavier. Also it has a bit more value than the 70's re-issue. The all green photo shows the Fenton stamp mark under the lid but doesn't show well. It is also stamped under the base.
This is True Art Glass at its Finest!
I'll let Photos tell the story and its a lovely one with a happy ending for the winner in that you will cherish this beauty!
Signed Fenton in oval catouche's under the lid and base and was produced at least 45 + years ago.
This charmer is so gorgeous it seems they couldn't break the mold as it has been re-issued but with hang tags and not signed. I think its truly lovely and bought it at a estate sale at a price that suggested they did not know it was Fenton. I appreciate these beautiful pieces but my small house doesn't have any more room. I do Love it though and the color is amazing, a bit like lime sherbet :) as in yummy!
Fenton is no longer making Art Glass. They are now making jewelry. A sign of the times I fear but this should at least begin to recover its value and then hold and increase it.
Thanks for stopping in. Feel free to comment, but please keep it nice. I m not always available right now due to a medical condition so also please be patient.
I follow all Listia rules and want you to as well... Cheers!
