These are so beautiful! They were my sister's & she has problems with swelling so she can't wear these. they feel very comfortable, with soft leather-like material inside the shoe with an arch support cushion as well. the upper middle has wide elastic to stretch while putting them on. They are very light weight which is why I listed them as 'shoes/slippers' as I believe they could be used as either. Thank you for stopping by & any questions feel free to ask in comment area. They were my sisters and not my style of shoes anyway, but I have slipper/shoes that I 've worn to the store.

Well, my sister bought them for herself, & she has wide feet; so other than being narrow or average width (she needs wide width);she didn't even put them all the way on when she realized they were not the 'wide' style.....ok, I just measured the bottom, from tip of toe to the heel, they measure 10 1/2 "; so allowing to the rounded toe area I'd say YES they are true to size:) thank you for asking; glad I measure them for you:) Have a great day!!

Are they more red or like a hot pink? My fiancee is a huge Wizard of Oz fan, and they kind of look like the Ruby Slippers! But she wears a size 7 or 7.5. Do you think they'd be too big for her, even just to wear as slippers around the house?

But my main concern is the true color? Are they close to the ruby slippers' color at all?
