I'm not sure how to figure that out without sending it off at the post office. Is there another way to know for sure? I'm not very shipping-savvy yet... I've just been letting people know how much it cost after I sent it. Anyone feel free to message me how to figure out shipping cost before something is shipped - I'd love the extra help!
But then I have not been correct once on shipping predictions because I don't have a scale or anyone willing to tell me how the heck they come up with these calculations, so it's probably a lot less than that. I try the usps website but it makes no sense to me. Every time I punch in what I think it is, it turns out completely different at the post office. How does anyone do it without a scale? What is flat rate? What's the difference between flat rate and other packages? No one will explain. So I've decided to just start guessing weights and hoping for the best. So if your number is incorrect, I apologize. If it helps, these shoes are about as light as a box of pencils, and I'll be shipping them in a small box from Central VA.
You almost need a scale. These shouldn't be too heavy if they are 13 oz. or less they can go first class with tracking and that can be in the 3.50 range. If they are heavier it is almost same price as Parcel Select to go ahead and send Priority and depending it probably is around $5.50 to $6.00. I do a lot of shipping and I have a scale.
I think I'm gonna pick a scale up today while I'm out shopping... So if it's under a pound it can be sent first class for cheap? Btw if u win after explaining this to me I'm obviously not gonna charge you anything for shipping lol
