My mom makes these with a knitting pattern. I will use these any day over store brand towels. They actually can scrub a lot better this way and not leave any scratches. If this is crochet cotton, I'll admit to always throwing them in the dryer! They may shrink a inch the first time but fine after that. Just wanted to let people know the "bumps" make great scrubbers and they last forever! Good luck with these, hope people buy a bunch, especially if they don't have a dishwasher, lol!
