A French variety of strawberry that is NOT sold in grocery stores or common markets. The name means "woodland strawberries". These fruits are to delicate to transport and do not last long once ripe so the only way to try these are to grow them yourself or if you have a local farm. These berries have been known to have an indescribable fragrant taste. A must try!

Takes about 8-12 days to germinate and 6-8 weeks to blossom. In the first year, only a few fruits may be produce, but by the second year, you will have 20-30 berries per plant. These are typically grown in late spring or early fall.
