How do these work, exactly? Do they connect to the Wii or the Wiimote somehow or are they just regular headphones, only white?

It has a wireless transmitter that connects in to the Wii console. The transmitter plugs in and the headphones use AA batteries (included) so that the headphones themselves are completely wireless. I know they are specifically compatable for the Wii and I don't think they will work with any other game system or television, etc.

I'm having a hard time finding the shipping costs, but here's what I can do: If you win, I can put the first $15 of the shipping in and if it's above that you can pay the difference. Good luck!

It doesn't say on the package and l don't have a postal scale, but my best guess would be ~3 lbs.

Its a pass-thru audio device. You plug the audio-out cables from the Wii into the headphone extensions and then plug the headphone extensions into the speaker system or TV. The Wii does not interact with it at all. Thus, there is no USB adapter plugged into the Wii and it does not replace one of the four Wiimotes. The packaging says that unless the headset is turned on, the sound goes unhindered to the speakers/TV. When the headset is turned on, it goes to the headset instead of the speakers. Bear in mind, this is stil sealed in the original plastic packaging, so I can only tell you what the package says. We have never actually used it.
